1771 - 1847 Cabot freight haulier (by using a pair of horses & two pairs of oxen); married Hannah HEATH of Chester, New Hampshire (who later died several years earlier than Robert). They removed to Cabot in 1804. Robert was the first in Cabot to make regular trips (of from four to six weeks round-trip duration)  carrying whiskey, salts and pork to Boston and returning with molasses, codfish and other goods indispensable to new settlements. Issue: 4 sons & 5 daus - one of the daus, b.1808, married (  ?  ) DEAN and lived in Cabot, at least in 1889 pub.
